So Google finally released its site search analytics feature.
What a big deflating disappointment. This crumpy little tool is nothing more than an advertisement for Google’s Custom Search Engine.
While the technical presentation for CSE is most excellent and praiseworthy, the fact that Google won’t properly index and rank Supplemental Results Pages makes the whole process a waste of time.
I have to admit that I was hoping for an aggregative of “site:” query data from Google’s primary Web search — that would not require me to bend over backwards to promote a second-rate indexing service.
Google, do us all a favor: FIX YOUR SEARCH RESULTS BEFORE DOING US ANY MORE FAVORS.

Indeed it wouldn’t be bad if they fix the things they have to fix. And a bit more attention for Europe also would be nice.
I saw sites disappearing, i saw scrapers outrank the originals and last but not least i saw legitimite sites being flagged as malware while they are one of the biggest property portals overhere(ERA vastgoed).
A few hours later they didn’t flag the site anymore as malware but i don’t think ERA was happy with the fact that their site was flagged and unreachable through Google’s results.
Now they have the geotargetting option in their webmaster tools. How many problems are going to come with this future?
